About Us
Phyllis  V. Crum is an ordained minister, a certified transformational life-coach, mentor, and adviser. She serves the Body of Christ in developing church leaders and ministry couples. For three years, she  served as the Vice President of Women in Shared Ministry, an organization designed to help women be more effective and transformational in their calling through training, mentoring, and coaching no matter where God sends them. She is a prophet and intercessor with a passion for helping others to take dominion in every area of their lives to build the Kingdom of God at home, work, church, and the world.  Rev. Crum’s ministry focus is the restoration of God’s people.  Rev. Crum speaks God’s heart to bring repentance, healing, deliverance and restoration to people who have long walked in bondage. She also served the Body of Christ as Director of Christian Education, Executive Pastor, Sunday School Teacher and a women's ministry leader.
She is a former Army officer and analyst and retired as a Major after 20 years of service.  She served two combat tours in Saudi Arabia and a humanitarian aid mission in Somalia, earning three combat awards from 1991 through 1993.  Rev. Crum held two separate commands, a U.S. Army Recruiting Company, and the 183d Maintenance Company. During her service, Major Crum earned three Meritorious Service Medals, seven Army Commendation Medals, three Army Achievement medals, the National Defense Medal, the Army Expeditionary Medal and various recognitions for Desert Storm/Shield (Saudi Arabia)/Operation Restore Hope (Somalia).  She was nominated for the General Douglas MacArthur Leadership Award and for Instructor at the prestigious U.S. Army Military Academy at West Point in the Department of Leadership and Behavioral Sciences.  She was selected for the Command and General Staff College before her retirement. She was employed as the American Red Cross Service Delivery Coordinator for the City of Franklin and Southampton County.  She is a former volunteer Chaplain for the Charles City Sheriff's Department, and the former Field Site Associate and volunteer for Meals On Wheels delivering meals throughout New Kent County, Virginia.
Doctor Crum earned a Doctor of Ministry degree from Providence Bible College and Theological Seminary, Norfolk, Virginia in June 2010. She was also an adjunct professor at Providence. She served as public servant as  Chairwoman of the City of Franklin Community Policy Management Team for At Risk Youth and Families, President of the City of Franklin Schools Special Education Advisory Committee, Life Skills Instructor for the Franklin Redevelopment and Housing Authority, and a Results Leader for Smart Beginnings Western Tidewater committed to helping children enter school healthy and ready to learn.
