Tell It Like It T. I. Is!
In all of the communities that Momma moved us into there was always,
and I mean always someone who was the “mouth almighty, have tongue will travel,
talking loud and saying nothing” person.
When they wanted to tell you the truth about yourself without holding anything back,
and with the attitude of not caring what you think about them,
“Imma tell you like it T. I. is!”
They would tell you the truth, but the way they told it would sometimes hurt.
As a little girl that bothered me to see people hurting, and I always thought the thing
could have been said better.
As a very quiet and shy little girl in elementary school, no one would have ever
guessed that today I am wordy and bold.
It was a jolt to my pride when I was labeled “mouth almighty, have tongue will travel,
talking loud and saying nothing!”
My fellow prophets, how many of you know that the pride had to go? Raise your left hand!
God has a way of turning hearts, thereby changing the tongue and the attitude.
He changed how I saw, heard, and felt. When these are changed to what He has designed,
the sound is different.
There is substance to what is said, weightiness is there that sets
things in order and brings attention to what God is conveying through the prophet.
God has assigned your body as His communication system to pass on Words
that He gives for this generation.
Words that are to be spoken with Godly attitude, truthfulness, withholding nothing that
He said to speak.
You have got to tell it like it T. I. is.
You have got to deliver it in whatever manner He says; boldly, softly, gently, loudly,
pull them to the side, or open forum.
You have got to tell it in urban language, Ebonics, correct English, Spanish or Swahili.
God has called you to be His “mouth almighty, have tongue will travel, talking loud and
saying SOMETHING!” I say to you…Tell it like it T. I. is.
God says in Isaiah 58:1 “Shout it aloud, do not hold back. Raise your voice like a trumpet.
Declare to my people their rebellion and to the descendants of Jacob their sins.
