REALLY! you Judging ME?
Recently I have been hearing over and over in different places, ‘judge not!’
This befuddles me.
How on God’s green earth can we be effective leaders
if every time you turn around other leaders in ministry has a resounding “judge not!”
As I see it they ought to be judging too!
Reading a little further down in Matthew 7 Jesus gives the solution to this conundrum.
This is the legitimate position a Christian should be in to make a judgment call…cast the beam out of your eye, and then you can see clearly how to cast out the
mote from your brother’s eye.
Seems simple enough to me.
So, what do you think the real deal is with those who are shouting loudly “DON’T JUDGE!”
Could it be that they don’t want anybody to take note of their sin and speak to them
After all, what you do with yourself does affect the rest of us.
Folks, my people, we have to be accountable to each other, and certainly showing
gentleness and mercy as we judge.
Now, be sure to judge correctly, as Jesus stated in John 7:24.
It’s not a good idea to go by appearances.
If something goofy is going on it’s time to investigate, examine, and check what the
Word of God says concerning this thing.
Discerning (judging) is a necessary part of who we are in Christ.
If you love me you will judge my actions, and correct me if I am wrong.
Please…examine my words, my deeds, etc., etc., etc. I’m not saying it’s going to feel good;
but isn’t the flesh supposed to die?
See Galatians 6:1. Just in case you were not aware of this, there is a difference between
gossip and righteous judgment, folks.
I believe the best thing to do is just live righteously, remain teachable, and love correction.
We are preparing ourselves and each other for the coming of our Lord and Savior,
Jesus the Anointed One.
He is coming for His Bride without spot or wrinkle. I can be judged now, or judged later.
Please judge me now so that I can be correct when I hear the trump resound this
HERE COME THE JUDGE, HERE COME JUDGE, EVERYBODY KNOWS THAT HE IS THE JUDGE!
